Q: How much will I actually save?
A: Our Twin Cities Hero Homeowner partners have agreed to the following rebates and discounts:
✓ 25% of the gross realtor commission paid to you whether you buy, sell or both
✓ Lender tips to save on closing costs, interest rates, down payments. Also, we have expert and up to date knowledge & info on Hero loan programs as well as down payment assistance loans. The savings depend on which program you chose and if your lender particpates in them.
✓ $50+ discount on Private Home Inspections with TCHH preferred Home inspection company
✓ $150 Discount on closing fee when using TCHH preferred Title Company
✓Discounts on dozens of other homeowner related products & services
Q: How does the real estate agent commision rebate work?
A: You will be given a check for 25% of the gross commission amount given to your agent in check form after your closing.
Q: If I'm already working with a realtor can I switch to use a TCHH particpating realtor?
A: Yes, if you are NOT currenlty entered into a contract with your current real estate agent.. You cannot switch agents if you are currently under contract. TCHH does not solicit those buyers/sellers currently under a real estate contract.
Q: Do I have to use all of TCHH's preferredvendors to take advanatge fo the savings?
A: No, you may use any one or all of the real estate services we offer. Obvioulsy the more you use the more you save, however, you are not required to use all of the services. You may pick and choose as many as you prefer and take advantage of the individual savings/discounts each has to offer.
Q: How does your program come up with funds to donate to local HERO related charities?
A: Each TCHH member that is used in the transction allocates an amount from his or her commission to donate to a selected local hero related charity on a quartlery basis. In addition TCHH does fundraisers (example: golf tournament) to also raise funds for charity. Serving and giving back to local heroes is what we are all about.
Q: There seems to be many "Hero" savings programs available out there. What makes your different or better?
A: We applaud anyone giving back to those members of our community who serve, protect and educate us. We feel that being our program is only directly focused on the local commmunity we all live and work in, we are more knowledge of ALL of the resources our local community has to offer in the form of local and federal real state programs. In addition everyone of our particpants are up to date on all of the current Twin Cities real state trends & markets.
Q: Who is eligible for this program and these savings?
A: *Active Military, Active Reserve, or a Veteran – Qualified Active Duty Service personnel including the U.S. Armed Services or Reserve Forces. Qualified veterans include military members honorably discharged from any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. Documented with a current DD214 or military ID.
*Firefighters - Volunteer, full-time and part-time. Must be a currently active firefighter. Documented with letter from fire chief, fire fighter ID or other apporpriate ID.
*Police Officers – individuals commissioned as a police officer by a federal, state,regional, county, or municipal or township government, or a public or private college oruniversity; must be sworn to uphold, and make arrests for violations of the federal, state,regional, county, or municipal, or township law or respond to terrorism. Documented with active badge or related ID.
*Emergency Medical Technicians or Paramedics – Sworn paid members of a fire department whose regular duties include fire suppression or prevention, emergency medical response, hazardous materials response. Documented with appropriate ID.
*Health Care Workers – Certified, accredited, or licensed health care workers who are employed full-time as a medical resident or fellow, dental hygienist, nurse, nursing assistant, pharmacist, pharmacy technician, physician’s assistant, medical technician,technologist, or therapist. Documented with appropriate ID.
*Teachers – Individuals employed full-time by an accredited or state recognized publicschool, private school, or federal, state, county, or municipal educational agency as a state-certified classroom teacher or administrator in grades K-12 or higher education. Documented with appropriate ID.
